USER INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS (TIME WATCHER 3.5)

INTRODUCTION
Time Watcher – Wonderful software, watches your time and events for you. You don’t have to panic about you forgetting events that are ahead of you. Time watcher works with the local time to remind you of a particular time and/or event. It’s easy to play around with…Enjoy!

PRE-REQUISITE(S)
> Platform - Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7
> Windows Installer 3.1
> Windows Media Player
> Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
If you do not have .Net Framework 2.0 installed on your computer, you can download and install it from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5
> At least 64MB RAM
> It is also required that the time on your computer is set to the correct local time.

THE GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE (GUI)
The GUI consists of a beautiful visual display of the current date and time at the top of the Desktop (screen).


With this, you can visually monitor the time and date even if you have the window time displayed at the notification area of the task bar.
FEATURES:
1. TIME REMINDER
The Time Reminder displays a dialog box for you to set a time for Time Watcher to watch and remind you. To set Time Reminder, follow these steps:
1. Right-Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right-Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown.


2. Click on “Time Reminder…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.



3. Follow the “Hint” on the dialog box to set a reminder by typing in the correct integer value into the corresponding boxes e.g. 19:12 for 7:12pm, 09:20 or 9:20 for 9:20am etc. and click the OK button.

. When the set-time ‘ticks’, a corresponding dialog box is displayed as shown below, indicating the reminded time. This Time Reminder dialog box is displayed with a sound playing underground for 30seconds after which it closes itself; you can also close the box if you are satisfied with it.




2. EVENT REMINDER
The Event Reminder displays a dialog box for you to set an event with the corresponding day, month, year and time for Time Watcher to watch and remind you. To set Event Reminder, follow these steps:
1. Right-Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right-Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown above.
2. Click on “Event Reminder…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.


3. Fill the form correctly and follow the “Hint” on the dialog box to set the correct time for the event e.g. 19:12 for 7:12pm, 09:20 or 9:20 for 9:20am etc. and click the OK button.
4. On the event date when the set-time ‘ticks’, a corresponding dialog box is displayed as shown below, indicating the reminded event. This Event Reminder dialog box is displayed with a sound playing underground for 59seconds after which it closes itself; you can also close the box if you are satisfied with it.





3. EVENT STATUS
The Event Status displays a dialog box for you to check the status of your event. You can check the status of your events in order not to overwrite an existing event. When an event is selected in the combo box, the event message with the corresponding day, month, year and time will be displayed. To check your Event Status, follow these steps:
1. Right-Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right-Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown above.
2. Click on “Event Status…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.

3. Select an event from the combo box to check its status



4. FLEXIBILITY
The Software has been developed in a flexible way in order to suit the user’s interest. If by any means the Graphic User Interface (GUI) obstructs your icon on the desktop, you have the chance to Hide/Show the Graphic User Interface (GUI). There are two (2) ways to do this:
1. Right-Click on the visual display (Graphic User Interface) and click Hide/Show on the menu as shown above.
2. Right-Click on the icon in the notification area of the task bar and click on Hide/Show on the menu as shown below.
Follow the second step above to restore the GUI or simply Double-Click on the icon in the notification area of the task bar.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you want to set a ‘Reminder’ that last for days, it is better to set ‘Event Reminder’ because its information has a permanent storage. The ‘Time Reminder is just for a shorter period of time as its information get lost when you shutdown your computer or this application.
