INTRODUCTION
Time Watcher is an on-screen digital clock with both time and event reminders. It features audio/visual reminders; choose from six (6) event category (Anniversary, Birthday, Meeting, Thanksgiving, Wedding Ceremony & Others), automatic hourly time reminders, and more. This is a handy little reminder service.

ð It is also required that the time on your computer is set to the correct local time.
THE GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE (GUI)
The GUI consists of a visual display of the current date and time at the top of the Desktop (screen), set to the local date and time on your computer.

TIME REMINDER
The Time Reminder is a functionality that enables this application to watch the time for you. It displays a dialog box to input the Time value. To set Time Reminder, follow these steps:
- Right Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown.
- Click on “Time Reminder…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.
- Adjust the time value as appropriate and click the OK button.
- When the set-time ‘ticks’, a corresponding dialog box is displayed as shown below, indicating the reminded time. This Time Reminder dialog box is displayed for 59seconds after which it closes itself; you can also close the box if you are satisfied with it.
EVENT REMINDER
The Event Reminder is a functionality the enable this application to watch various events. It displays a dialog box to set an event with the corresponding day, month, year and time. To set Event Reminder, follow these steps:
- Right Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown.
- Click on “Event Reminder…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.
- Fill the form correctly and press the OK button
- On the event date when the set-time ‘ticks’, a corresponding dialog box is displayed as shown below, indicating the reminded event. This Event Reminder dialog box may be displayed with a sound playing underground for 30 minutes (depending on your settings) after which it closes itself; you can also close the box if you are satisfied with it.
EVENT STATUS
The Event Status is a functionality that enables you to track the status of your event. You can check the status of your events in order to delete unwanted or expired events. When an event is selected, the details will be displayed.
NB: Expired events are automatically deleted on the next day
To check your Event Status, follow these steps:
1. Right Click on the visual display (GUI) or Right Click on the icon at the notification area of the task bar as shown above.
2. Click on “Event Status…” and a dialog box is displayed as shown below.
3. Select an event from the option box to check its status
FLEXIBILITY
This application has been developed in a flexible way in order to suit the user’s interest. If by any means the Graphic User Interface (GUI) obstructs your icon on the desktop, you can drag it away; you also have the chance to Hide/Show the Graphic User Interface (GUI). There are two (2) ways to do this:
- Right Click on the visual display (Graphic User Interface) and click Hide/Show on the menu as shown.
- Right Click on the icon in the notification area of the task bar and click on Hide/Show on the menu as shown below.
Follow the second step above to restore the GUI or simply Double Click on the icon in the notification area of the task bar.
This application can also be set to always be at the top of any window, this can be done with the ALWAYS-ON-TOP property.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you want to set a ‘Reminder’ that last for days, it is better to set ‘Event Reminder’ because its information has a permanent storage. The ‘Time Reminder is just for a shorter period of time as its information get lost when you shutdown your computer or this application.
